So, I’ve taken up learning Esperanto. Maybe it was the 4 years of Latin I studied at the old alma mater, or perhaps it is just Esperanto’s simple construction and declension, but I seem to be picking it up very easily. Watching old episodes of Red Dwarf is now even more fun, as I can now spot many of the Esperanto-isms throughout the show. My ultimate goal is to one day be able to watch this movie in its native tongue (note which actor has the leading role). For those of you interested in the language, an invaluable resource is Lernu.
